About this course
TEFL International Prague provides a 4-week TEFL course leading to an internationally recognized Certificate in TESOL. We are a professional TEFL training centre located in Prague, Czech Republic. Our program provides high-quality training and certification for people who want to work as teachers in Prague, in Europe or worldwide. It is externally moderated by TEFL International and validated through Lamar University (Texas, USA). Our centre is also accredited by EAQUALS, the leading professional association for language education.

The course price covers 130 hours of face-to-face training, 6 hours of teaching practice, additional materials, welcome breakfast, welcome party, job guidance, accreditation, Prague tour and many other things.
What you'll learn
The course is very intensive. It's more or less the equivalent of doing a university semester in one month. The first week and last week have the lightest work load but the middle two weeks are quite demanding as during  this time trainees are usually writing assignments and studying over the weekend as well. Weekdays are 9 hour class days devoted to a combination of input sessions, lesson planning workshops, observed teaching practice and feedback sessions. Successful trainees also put in time outside of class working on assignments, language awareness and some of their lesson planning. How much time a trainee will need to spend outside the regular TEFL day usually depends on the trainee's individual level of language awareness i.e. do you know and understand the grammar you are teaching, and the trainee's ability to cope with academic tasks like written assignments.
